The stockyard of Calgary, Alberta are world renowned for their annual Stampede celebration, but Monster Jam was bringing a rodeo of a different type to the Calgary Stampede Grandstands as Randy Brown and the Grave Digger were set to wrangle the competition over the course of two days. The weekend started off strong for Randy Brown and the Grave Digger as they opened up Saturday night’s action with a pair of stellar sky wheelies to take the wheelie contest victory. Brown carried that momentum into the racing bracket as he worked his way through to the finals, knocking out Captain USA in round one, and Nitro Hornet in the semi-finals. The final round pitted Brown against the hard charging Ryan Anderson and Son-Uva Digger. It was a close heat that was too close to call by eye, but video replay gave the victory to Son-Uva Digger. Brown returned in freestyle set to take the victory, but came up just shy to defeating Son-Uva Digger once again, losing by a difference of just two points.

Sunday afternoon got off to a rough start for Randy Brown and the Grave Digger. An awkward bounce in the wheelie contest would result in a rollover and a score far from what he was hoping for. Racing saw similar frustration after an early exit in round one falling to Nitro Hornet. Once it came time for Bad to the Bone to start playing and the Grave Digger to hit the floor for freestyle, Brown had regained his composure and was set to unleash the Black and Green Wrecking Machine for an epic freestyle performance. The run was packed with big  air, big sky wheelies, and an incredible save, making Brown the clear cut freestyle winner.

With Calgary in the books the next stop is Hampton, Virgina for some hometown show fun to close out the 2013 Monster Jam season. Check back soon for the latest on Randy Brown Motorsports!
