Randy Brown Motorsports Hard at Work in New Jersey
After picking up ten wins last weekend, the Randy Brown Motorsports team made the short trip to East Rutherford, New Jersey for three more Monster Jam events at the Izod Center. The team had a tough go on their last trip to New Jersey just a few weeks earlier and looked for some redemption coming into the weekend. Randy Brown and the Grave Digger had another strong outing with several wins, starting off on Friday night with wins in the donut contest and freestyle, and a second place in racing. Brown followed up on the Saturday afternoon event with another donut contest, but mechanical problems sidelined the Grave Digger from freestyle. In between shows, the crew thrashed to get the Grave Digger back for the night event and were successful in their efforts. Their hard work payed off as Brown went on to pick up another donut contest and then finish off the weekend with another freestyle victory.
Joey Parnell and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle had a solid weekend. While Parnell didn’t bring home any victories, he was consistent throughout all three events during the weekend. Not only does Parnell do well as a driver, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and works hard to keep the trucks up and running, which doesn’t show up in the results column.
