Northeast Swing Starts Strong for Randy Brown Motorsports
The Randy Brown Motorsports team headed east to start off a three week stint in the northeast, starting in Uniondale, New York for four shows at the Nassau Coliseum. The action got started on Friday night where the team kicked things off with a dominant showing. Joey Parnell and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle opened up the night with a second place run in the wheelie contest. The team dominance continued as Parnell would face off against Randy Brown and the Grave Digger in the racing final, with Brown picking up the win. In the donut contest the duo finished first and second again as Brown would score the win with Parnell in second. Freestyle saw Brown deliver once again as he out-did the competition for his third win of the night.
Saturday afternoon started off well once again for the team as Parnell piloted the Turtle to a second place finish in the wheelie contest and picked up the racing victory over Storm Damage in the finals. Not to be outdone, Brown spun the Grave Digger to the donut contest win, but damaged the rear axle and would be unable to compete in freestyle. Brown came back for the Saturday night event with another dominate performance starting off with second place in wheelies. From there Brown went on to pick up wins in racing, donuts, and freestyle for another three win night.
For the fourth and final event of the weekend, it was more of the same from the team. Parnell was second in the wheelie contest for the second time of the weekend. In racing, it was Parnell and Brown meeting in the final round once again, with Brown emerging the victor. Brown followed up with a second place finish in the donut contest, just one point shy of sweeping all four donut contests on the weekend. In freestyle it was another one-two finish for the team with Parnell getting second and Brown getting the win.
From Uniondale, it’s on to East Rutherford, New Jersey to the Izod Center where the team will have a three show weekend starting on Friday.
